So I have to say that at first I wasn't sure how I felt about studying abroad with a host family. I've gotten so used to living on my own between EHS and BU that I was wondering how I would adapt to suddenly living in someone's house with their family and being a party of their daily lives.
But I have to say it has been the best experience. My little host brothers are the freaking cutest things alive and whenever I have a bad day they never fail to cheer me up, not knowing that anything is wrong. They never cease to amuse me with their phrases or actions that are all ridiculous. Hahah.
And today, when I woke up to see that it was raining outside I was definitely disappointed to see that it was raining which means that we would not be going to the first day of Carnaval here. But, I'm learning slowly that it's okay to sit at home and spend time here.
So here I am, watching Bee Movie with my little brothers for about the 20th time this week (little exaggeration there... okay maybe for the 4th time) after we just finished watching Pinnochio... which we watched yesterday, and the day before, and the day before hahah. But as Alejandro exclaims to me "VEN A VER!!! ES VACANISMO!!" (which basically means come see it because it's the greatest thing ever... and according to him Pinnochio is also a brand-new movie haha).
So for now I think I am going to enjoy the rainy day, watch Bee Movie and Pinnochio a few more times, and get a little bit of work done :)
